It is most of the time
the best answer you could give
and the worst you could get

When people treat you like they don’t care, believe them.

The Routine War of words

"Stop it
Loathing self
Dwelling in the past
Disgraced by your being
A total jerk
towards self
Stop it

I’m telling you
This is the saturation point
the threshold has been reached
I’ve taken too much
Enough is enough!
So, stop it”

-shouts my mind

shouting back- ”Stop it
You tell me??
That is exactly what i try
I’m a failure at it
I know it,
You know it.

And you send reminders?
You think i forget this?
Its that one thing that i wish to,
so badly,
but i know
that won’t ever happen
none of it
stop it

The fight has been
on for too long
Between you, pain and me
One of them will give in soon
Chances are,
it’ll be me …
So, stop it
you fucking stop it too
can you?”

-replies my heart

The End

When i saw you,

I was
an adventurer
You were
the red alert on my trouble radar

When we met,

I was
an electric punchbag,
registered the strongest punch.

When we fell in love,

I was
A bullet.
you were
A Gun.
Gun and bullet,
made for eachother.

your job was to fire me,
that i forgot.

You did your job,
We fell apart

When we broke up,

It was the ending of a chapter
in your book,
But it was ‘The End’
in mine

Loving your poetry <3

If you have run your fingers over words on a flat, lifeless page and felt mountains, winds, heartbeats - then you have felt poetry.

I hate it when you really need to talk to a friend about something important because you feel like your world is crashing down on you but they act like you don’t exist until their problems occur.

that you can see it in the slow movement of
the hands of a clock"
